Panasonic releases the LUMIX DMC-FX90, a slim, compact digital camera with integrated WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. Dubbed as a communication camera, the FX90 is able to upload images taken with the camera to social services such as Facebook, Flickr, Picasa or YouTube via WiFI connection. Images can also be transferred to users’ PC wirelessly. The camera has a dedicated WiFi button for instant access.

Panasonic is going to launch in August the LUMIX DMC-FZ47 (also known as DMC-FZ48 in some markets), the latest addition to its super-zoom FZ-series. The new FZ47 sports a 24x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens with 25mm wide angle, and a 12.1 Megapixel Hi-Speed CCD image sensor. It can take high-resolution consecutive shots at 3.7 fps in 12.1-megapixel full-resolution and maximum 10 fps at 3-megapixel recording.

Alongside the TS3, ZS10 and ZS8, Panasonic also introduces the ultra-compact LUMIX DMC-FX78 (aka LUMIX DMC-FX77 in some markets) digital camera. The camera features a large 3.5-inch Smart Touch LCD display allowing for intuitive touch operation, including Touch AF, Touch Zoom, Touch Shutter, and Touch Playback. It supports 1920x1080p Full HD video recording. in AVCHD format.

Panasonic has announced the new LUMIX DMC-TS3 (aka LUMIX DMC-FT3) rugged digital camera as the successor to the LUMIX DMC-TS2/FT2. As a rugged device, the TS2 is tougher than the TS2, and is waterproof to approximately 40 feet (12m); shockproof to approximately 6.6 feet (2m); freezeproof to 14ºF (-10 degrees C); and dustproof. It also comes with new outdoor-friendly features, such as a built-in GPS function, a compass, altimeter and barometer.

Panasonic has just announced its all-new LUMIX DMC-ZS10 (aka LUMIX DMC-TZ20), the latest addition to the ZS series ,featuring a powerful 16x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 24mm wide angle. The compact camera, successor to the ZS7, also feature Full HD 1920×1080 video recording in AVCHD format and comes with built-in GPS for geotagging images to be pinpointed via online maps. It is capable of High-speed Consecutive Shooting at 10fps.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP7

Panasonic brings two new touchscreen digital cameras, the 16.1 Megapixel LUMIX DMC-FP7 and the 14.1 Megapixel LUMIX DMC-FP5. The former has a sleek mirror finish while the latter has a matte finish. They sport an ultra thin 4x optical zoom lens with folded optics and the Venus Engine VI image processor with Intelligent Resolution Technology.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH5

Panasonic announced two slim and stylish compact digital cameras in its FH-series, the LUMIX DMC-FH5 and LUMIX DMC-FH2. The 16.1 Megapixel FH5 and 14.1 Megapixel FH2 both feature the newly developed retractable, high-quality 28mm wide-angle LEICA DC lenses with a 4x optical zoom, which makes them about 20% slimmer profiles than their predecessors.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FH27

Panasonic adds two new FH models, the LUMIX DMC-FH27 and DMC-FH25, to its 2010 LUMIX lineup. Both cameras sport 16.1 Megapixel sensor and a 28mm wide angle LEICA DC lens with 8x optical zoom. They have a new design with an easy-to-hold grip and slim and stylish profile. The FH27 comes with a 3-inch Smart Touch Screen for full touch-control operation while the FH25 has a 2.7-inch Intelligent LCD without touch control.

Panasonic introduces two new LUMIX S-series compact digital cameras, the 14.1 Megapixel DMC-S3 and the 12.1 Megapixel DMC-S1. They have a new rounded shaped that fits comfortably in the palm of the hand. The S3 and S1 both have a 28mm wide angle 4x optical zoom lens and a 2.7-inch LCD display.
