Panasonic adds to its LUMIX G Series the new GX1 Micro Four Thirds Compact System Camera. According to Panasonic, the new model is intended to please a lot of photo enthusiasts who have been eager for a technology upgrade comparable to the LUMIX DMC-GF1. The GX1 features 16.01 Megapixel Live MOS sensor, Venus Engine and a 3-inch LCD touchscreen with touch-control system for touch-based focus and shutter release.

Panasonic LUMIX GF3 - the Company's Smallest and Lightest Micro Four Thirds Camera

 

Panasonic officially announced its new LUMIX DMC-GF3, its smallest and lightest digital interchangeable lens camera with a built-in flash. Based on Micro Four Thirds standard, the mirror-less camera delivers “all the features desired from a traditional DSLR interchangeable lens camera” in a ultra compact, lightweight body, weighing just 7.83oz. It is 16.7% smaller and 16.2% lighter than its predecessor, the LUMIX GF2, according to Panasonic.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-G3 Micro Four Thirds Camera angle

Panasonic expands its LUMIX G Micro System line with the new DMC-G3 Micro Four Thirds camera, follow-up to the LUMIX G2, featuring 16 Megapixel Live MOS image sensor. The new camera uses Micro Four Thirds mount and is compatible with LUMIX G lenses as well as any interchangeable lens that complies with the Four Thirds System standard via an optional mount adapter.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH2 Hybrid Touch-Control Micro Four Thirds Camera angle

Panasonic announed the new LUMIX DMC-GH2, replacing its successful predecessor, the LUMIX GH1. The new GH2 is a Micro Four Thirds camera that is compatible with Panasonic’s H-FT012 LUMIX G 12.5mm / F12 3D lens for shooting in 3D. Also, starting from GH2, Panasonic calls its Micro Four Thirds-based LUMIX G series as Digital Single Lens Micro (DSLM) or DSLMicro cameras.
