Panasonic releases the LUMIX DMC-FX90, a slim, compact digital camera with integrated WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. Dubbed as a communication camera, the FX90 is able to upload images taken with the camera to social services such as Facebook, Flickr, Picasa or YouTube via WiFI connection. Images can also be transferred to users’ PC wirelessly. The camera has a dedicated WiFi button for instant access.

Panasonic adds to its LUMIX G Series the new GX1 Micro Four Thirds Compact System Camera. According to Panasonic, the new model is intended to please a lot of photo enthusiasts who have been eager for a technology upgrade comparable to the LUMIX DMC-GF1. Following the Lumix DMC-FZ47, Panasonic brings another 24x super-zoom digital camera, the LUMIX DMC-FZ150 as the a top-end model of the LUMIX FZ-series, replacing the FZ100 model. As the big brother of the FZ47, the new FZ150 looks exactly the same but, of course, adds new functions and improvements. The new long-zoom camera features a 12.1 Megapixel MOS image sensor and a 25mm ultra wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens with powerful 24x optical zoom range. It is also equipped with Venus Engine that quad-circuit system for processing large amount of progressive images and full HD data at high speed.

Panasonic Japan announced the DY-PS10 Pocket Server, a palm-sized device with WiFi designed to stream media content wirelessly to your iPhone or iPod touch. Works like Kingston’s Wi-Drive, but the Pocket Server has no built-in storage and offers SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot instead. The device is intended for use with Panasonic’s DIGA DVD/Blu-ray recorders. Users can connect the Pocket Server to a compatible DIGA recorder for storing videos and then to iPhone/iPod touch wirelessly.

Panasonic announced the PT-AE7000U, its first Full HD 3D home theater projector. It is also the world’s first 3D projector to use transparent LCD panels driven at 480Hz that, combined with Panasonic’s original Overdrive Technology, realize a significantly low crosstalk. Panasonic is going to launch in August the LUMIX DMC-FZ47 (also known as DMC-FZ48 in some markets), the latest addition to its super-zoom FZ-series. The new FZ47 sports a 24x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens with 25mm wide angle, and a 12.1 Megapixel Hi-Speed CCD image sensor. It can take high-resolution consecutive shots at 3.7 fps in 12.1-megapixel full-resolution and maximum 10 fps at 3-megapixel recording.
