Verizon Wireless is launching the Samsung Illusion, a mid-range Android smartphone. Boosted by a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, the phone is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with Swype quick input technology. It comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity.

AT&T will release later this year the Samsung DoubleTime, a smartphone with a full flip keyboard and dual touchscreens. The phone has a 3.2-inch 320×480 touchscreen outside and when you flip open it, you can find another 3.2-inch touchscreen and a four-row QWERTY keyboard for quick messaging. It has a 3.2 Megapixel camera with video recording.

AT&T launches the Pantech Link II quick messaging phone with QWERTY keyboard. The new phone runs Brew MP mobile OS 1.0.2. Measuring 10.7mm thick, the phone fits into your pocket or purse.
