Optoma launches the ML500, an ultra-portable business projector based on DLP technology for the professional. Like its brother ML300, the ML500 has built-in media player and utilizes Single 0.45″ WXGA DMD Chip DLP Technology to deliver 1280×800 resolution. The ML500 offers a higher brightness with 500 ANSI lumens with LED light source with 20,000 hours of life.

Optoma is launching the ML300 ultra portable LED projector designed for business users who need a powerful projector on-the-go. Based on Single 0.45″ WXGA DMD Chip DLP Technology, the ML300 features 1280×800 WXGA resolution. It uses lamp-free LED technology (with 20,000 hours of life) to deliver 300 ANSI lumens brightness and 3000:1 contrast ratio.

WOWee ONE introduces another pocket projector, the VUE with HDMI connectivity. The pico projector delivers 848×480 resolution widescreen images with 15 lumens brightness, 60Hz refresh rate and over 5000:1 contrast ratio. It is capable of producing up to 200-inch images.

Velocity introduced at the CES 2012 its Shine, a HD pocket projector capable of 720p. The affordable, compact device is based on DLP display technology and is able to project 1280×768 WXGA images with 2,000:1 contrast ratio and 300 lumens of brightness with LED RGB illumination. It is 3D-ready.

3M MP220 Mobile Projector

3M announced two new Mobile Projectors at the CES 2012, the MP220 and the MP410. Both models use LED light source offering up to 20,000 hours of lamp life. The MP220 uses Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology for superb image quality, while the MP410 is based on DLP technology. They both have built-in document viewer and media player for easy presentation without a laptop.

Japanese company ESPlus introduces the Seeser laser-based micro projector. Using laser technology, the pico projector features intelligent auto focus and delivers 800×600 SVGA images up to 100-inch screen size. The Seeser provides 25 lumens brightness.

AAXA Technologies, known for pico projectors, expands its lineup with the new P4 pico projector, which is the world’s brightest battery-powered projector. The new P4 is equipped with a Triple RGB LED light engine and Vibrant-Color technology to deliver ultra-bright 80 lumens brightness. The LED engine has up to 15,000 hours of life.

Along with the MP225A, 3M also releases the CP45 Camcorder Projector that combines a pico projector with a digital camcorder. The handheld devices supports 5 Megapixel still image shooting and 1280x720p HD video recording. It has a fixed focus lens, LED flash and a 2.4-inch LCD display.

Optoma launches a new pocket-sized projector, the PK120 based on DLP Pico imaging technology. The new pico projector can produce 640×360 widescreen images of up to 70-inch. It features LED light source for 18 ANSI lumens brightness and 2000:1 contrast ratio.

Here is the second generation of the MiLi Power Projector that works with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The new MiLi projector is 50% slimmer than the original Power Projector. The device docks and projects content from iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. It features 640×480 VGA resolution, 10 lumens brightness, LED light source with 20,000 hours of life and built-in 1W speaker.
