Korean company Atree launches the new Red Eye J2 portable media player with 4GB or 8GB internal storage. The Red Eye J2 features a 2.4-inch 240×320 LCD screen, and a micorSD card slot. It supports Flash lite 3.

Cowon launches in the O2 portable media player in the US market. The O2 is Cowon’s first PMP to have a large 4.3-inch 480x272widescreend display. The O2 is powered by Texas Instruments DaVinci chipset and is able to deliver video output of up to 720P HD resolution using composite cable.
