JVC ProHD GY-HM650 Handheld Mobile News Camera

In addition to the GY-HM600, JVC has another handheld camera for broadcasting, the ProHD GY-HM650 mobile news camera, which according to JVC, “can shoot and deliver new footage faster than ever.” The HM650 includes all features on the HM600, equipped with three, 1/3-inch 1920×1080 12-bit CMOS sensors, a built-in 23x optical zoom Fujinon lens, superior low-light performance, and excellent sensitivity (F11 at 2000 lux).

JVC ProHD GY-HM600 Handheld Camcorder

JVC announced a new handheld ProHD camcorder, the GY-HM600 that “delivers exceptional imagery and features for news, sports, and independent production.” The camcorder is equipped with three, 1/3-inch 12-bit CMOS sensors, each with 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 23x Fujinon Auto focus zoom lens with manual functions, and three ND filters. It offers excellent sensitivity (F11 at 2000 lux) and superior low-light performance.
