Epson adds to its PowerLite Pro Z-series projector line five new models, the Z8450WUNL, Z8455WUNL, Z8350WNL, Z8250NL and Z8255NL. These installation projectors are based on 3LCD, 3-chip technology and are designed for corporate, higher education, house of worship, rental and staging, museum, and digital signage applications. They all feature Edge Blending function that allows for consistent and smooth brightness and color when using more than one PowerLite Pro Z model side by side for staging, art galleries, digital signage, video walls, or command centers.

Sharp introduces a new XV-Z30000 3D HD DLP home theater projector ideal for people who looking for high-quality home theater experience. It features 50,000:1 contrast ratio an 1600 ANSI lumens brightness, and is equipped with Sharp’s proprietary digital image ICs to reproduce high quality 3D picture with low cross talk and flicker.

Velocity introduced at the CES 2012 its Shine, a HD pocket projector capable of 720p. The affordable, compact device is based on DLP display technology and is able to project 1280×768 WXGA images with 2,000:1 contrast ratio and 300 lumens of brightness with LED RGB illumination. It is 3D-ready.

3M MP220 Mobile Projector

3M announced two new Mobile Projectors at the CES 2012, the MP220 and the MP410. Both models use LED light source offering up to 20,000 hours of lamp life. The MP220 uses Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology for superb image quality, while the MP410 is based on DLP technology. They both have built-in document viewer and media player for easy presentation without a laptop.

Japanese company introduces a new micro DLP projector 400-PRJ011 for Apple’s iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The device features 640×360 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 12 ANSI lumens brightness. It uses LED for lighting offering up to 20,000 hours of life.

Christie LHD700

Christie is now shipping two new 3LCD projectors, the LX1200 with 12,000 lumens brightness and the Full HD 1080p LHD700. Both models are based on 3LCD display technology and are equipped with inorganic LCD panels to create a natural black and smoothest imaging.

InFocus expands its IN5300 series introducing the new N5316HD and IN5318 Full HD installation projectors with a new compact form factor. The IN5300 series offers complete installation flexibility and is ideal for large conference rooms, classrooms and medium sized venues.

JVC Procision Series DLA-X90R, DLA-X70R

JVC announced that it is now shipping its full 4K precision projectors, including the Procision Series DLA-X90R, DLA-X70R and DLA-X30 (which will also be marketed by JVC Professional Products Company as Reference Series DLA-RS65, DLA-RS55, DLA-RS45, respectively), and the Reference DLA-RS4800.

NEC introduces two new professional installation projectors, the NP-PX700W and NP-PX800W designed for large auditoriums and venues requiring exceptional brightness, such as houses of worship, higher education, corporate and retail environments where there is high ambient light or the need for a larger screen size. Both projectors are based on 1-Chip DLP technology and comes with dual lamps that provide intense light output, with up to 2500 hours of lamp life.

In addition the the HR274H 27-inch 3D display, Acer also brings the H9500BD Full HD 3D projector for home entertainment. While providing high-quality Full HD movie projection, the projector, like the HR274H, includes instant 2D-to-3D conversion technology. The 3D projector is based on DLP display technology and is equipped with 0.65″ DarkChip 2 DMD.
