Virgin Mobile USA, a brand under Sprint, launches the new Samsung Restore QWERTY messaging phone. The eco-friendly device has a casing that contains 27 percent post-consumer recycled plastics and 3 percent of the phone is recyclable. Designed for messaing and social networking, the Restore comesw ith a slide-out full QWERTY 4-row keyboard.

Nokia E6 QWERTY Business Smartphone black

Following the successful E71 and E72, Nokia introduces its new QWERTY business smartphone, the E6 running the latest Symbian Anna. The E6 combines a 2.46-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 640×480 resolution (ie. 326ppi) with the QWERTY keyboard to deliver faster navigation and operation. The phone comes with a 8 Megapixel full focus camera with dual LED flash and 720p HD video recording at 25fps.

HTC Merge QWERTY Android Phone Heading to Alltel

HTC has recently introduced the Merge (aka Lexikon), an Android smartphone with sliding QWERTY keyboardfor quick text input. To be released by Alltel, the HTC Merge will cost $124.99 with a 2-year contract. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm 800MHz processor and runs Android 2.2 with HTC Sense UI. It is HTC’s first Android-based CDMA world phone, meaning it also supports GSM/WCDMA network for roaming.

Samsung is going to reveal another Android smartphone, this time a bar-type QWERTY called Galaxy Pro. The phone is powered by a 800MHz processor with 512MB RAM and 2GB storage and runs Android 2.2. The Galaxy Pro comes with a 2.8-inch 320×240 touchscreen, a QWERTY keyboard, and a 3 Megapixel camera.

HP Veer - Smallest webOS Smartphone

Other than the new Pre 3, HP also introduces the Veer, the smallest webOS smartphone to date. With a slide-out keyboard, the compact phone is about the size of a credit card and no thicker than a deck of cards. It measures just 54.5 mm x 84.0 mm x 15.1 mm and is only 103 grams. One special thing about the Veer is that it doesn’t have dedicated micro USB port and 3.5mm jack, instead it has a 5-pin magnetic connector for attaching charging adapter and 3.5mm jack adapter.
