Samsung Galaxy Ace 2

Samsung adds two new devices to its Galaxy smartphone line, the Galaxy Ace 2 and the Galaxy Mini 2 that are the follow-up to the Ace and Mini, respectively. Both phones run Android 2.3 OS and comes pre-loaded with Social Hub and Music Hub and Samsung’s ChatON instant messaging application. They include optional NFC support.

Samsung reveals the latest member of its Galaxy Tab line, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus N 7-inch tablet. Powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, the new 7.0 Plus N model runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system with Samsung’s TouchWiz. The new tablet is available in 3G+WiFi model and WiFi-only version.

Samsung is launching in India three new dual-SIM Android smartphones, including the Galaxy Ace DUOS, Galaxy Y DUOS and Galaxy Y Pro DUOS. All three devices are powered by 823MHz processor and run Android 2.3 OS. Samsung will also bring the Champ Deluxe DUOS and the Star 3 DUOS to India.

Samsung introduces its latest addition to its tablet line, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) that serves as the successor to the original 7-inch Galaxy Tab model. Powered by a 1GHz dual core processor with 1GB of RAM, the Galaxy Tab 2 is the company’s first Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0-powered tablet. It comes with a 1024×600 PLS touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel main camera, and a VGA front-facing camera for video chat.

Samsung is adding to the GALAXY line the new mid-range GALAXY S Advance smartphone. The new phone, as its name tells, is an advanced version of the GALAXY S. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 768MB of RAM. It will be shipped with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The Advanced GALAXY S has a curved glass design that enhances handling of the phone and fits the user’s facial form easily and naturally.

Samsung introduces the new GALAXY Ace Plus Android smartphone, the enhanced version of the GALAXY Ace. The new Ace Plus is boosted by a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. The phone has a 3.65-inch 320×480 touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash.

 
Samsung announced two new dual-SIM Android mobile phones, the GALAXY Y DUOS and the GALAXY Y Pro DUOS with QWERTY keyboard. Both phones are powered by 832MHz processor and runs Android 2.3 OS with TocuhWiz UI. They have two SIM card slots allowing two separate phone numbers and a simultaneous use of data on the same device.

Samsung announced its new Galaxy Note, a 5.3-inch big screen Android device that sits between mobile phone and tablet. According to the Korean company, the “GALAXY Note is a new category of product that combines core on-the-go benefits of various mobile devices while maintaining smartphone portability, to create a whole new user experience.”

Samsung announced in Germany the new Galaxy XCover, a rugged Android smartphone. Like Motorola’s DEFY, the XCover has IP67 certification to protect it against dust and up to 1 meter depth of water for 30 minutes. The phone has a 3.6-inch touchscreen with scratch-resistant tempered glass, and a 3.2 Megapixel camera with LED flash.

Samsung offically announced the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 ultra slim Android tablets, expanding its Galaxy family. While the Tab 8.9 is introduced for the first time, Samsung re-introduced the Tab 10.1, brining a complete new design and slimmer body. Both tablets run Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS with the company’s TouchWiz UX/4.0 user interface. These new Tabs are the world’s thinnest mobile tablets, measuring just 8.6 millimeters, according to Samsung.
