Samsung will release in April in the States its R1 and R0 portable media players, both available in 8GB and 16GB capacities. These PMPs features Samsung’s Digital Natural Sound Engine (DNSe) 3.0 sound enhancement technology and supports a wide range of media formats, including DivX.

Samsung YP-R1 Beat DJ TouchWiz PMP

Samsung officially announced in Korea its YP-R1 portable media player that we’ve seen previously. One of the features of the Samsung R1 is the Beat DJ function that allows users to add their own voice and sound effects to their favorite songs. Users can also ‘scratch’ records on the super-clear 2.6” display to create personalized music.
