Samsung announced the Ultra Edition II series mobile phones and the Ultra Edition 2 10.9 (aka U600) is only 10.9mm thick.
The Samsung Ultra Edition 10.9/U600 is a Quad-band phone with EDGE and GPRS, it has a 3.2 Megapixel camera, a 2.2-inch 260k olor TFT LCD display, built-in media player supporting MP3/ACC/eAAC+/WMA files, Bluetooth 2.0, 60MB internal memory and a microSD slot.

The Ultra Edition 10.9 is Yahoo Ready and features Business Card Recognition. It measures 103.2 x 49.3 x 10.9 mm. “The Ultra Edition II will be released in the European Market in the first quarter of this year.” One more picture after the jump.

PDAGold gives us a video preview on the Samsung SGH-i600 (aka BlackJack or SGH-i607). The Samsung SGH-i600 is powered by Texas Instruments OMAP 1710 220 MHz processor and runs Window Mobile 5.0 OS and it has a 2.3-inch QVGA LCD, a 1.3Megapixel camera, camcorder, MP3 Player, file viewer, and Bluetooth.

The SGH-i600 supports also HSDPA which offers high-speed voice/data transmission at the speed of 1.8Mbps.

Samsung announced its new Ultra Smart F700 smartphone. The Samsung F700 supports HSDPA 7.2Mbps, EDGE, GSM Tri-band and 2.1GHz. It has a 5 Megapixel camera with auto foucs, a 2.78-inch 440×240 260k color TFT LCD display, QWERTY keyboard, Blutooth, USB and a microSD slot.

The F700 supports MPEG4, H.263, H.264, AAC media file formats and Full HTML Browsing. It comes with Flash UI and document viewer.

The Samsung F700 measures 104x50x164.mm.

Samsung shows us it STT-D370, a 16.8mm thick GPS device with DMB reception and Bluetooth. The Samsung STT-D370 has a 3.7-inch TFT VGA LCD screen, support for DMB digital TV reception GPS navigation with 3D map, Bluetooth and a SD card slot. It can be used in cars ans can be charged via the 24-pin mobile phone charger.

Samsung likes to break record. We have seen the Trace SGH-T519, SGH-A727, SGH-X820 ultra slim phones, but Samsung say they are not thin enough and thus Samsung shows us its Ultra Edition 5.9 (there are no official name yet) which is as thin as 5.9mm. In the thin body, the Samsung Ultra 5.9 has a 3 Megapixel (Amazing!), Media player, Bluetooth and 80MB of internal memory.

It is expected to hit the market in March this year.

Samsung is going to launch in Taiwan the SGH-Z368 3G phone. The Samsung SGH-Z368 has a 2-inch 260k color TFT LCD screen, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, a 0.3 Megapixel sub-camera for video calls, built-in media player supporting MP3, AAC, AAC+ music file and MPEG4 and 3GP videos.

Samsung shows the world SCH-W559, Samsung’s first phone to have VibeTonz touchscreen, which looks like the Samsung E898. The Samsung SCH-W559 has a 260k color TFT LCD screen, a 1.3 Megapixel caemra, built-in music player, Bluetooth and handwriting recognition.

Immersion claims that VibeTonz enhances content applications as well as simple dialling and text. It says that, since the first VibeTonz-enhanced phone was introduced in April 2005, mobile games have been tweaked to provide feedback similar to that found in console games. VibeTonz effects can also accompany ringtones or full tracks to deliver an effect like turning up the subwoofers.

It measures 90.5×48.4×13.8mm for 90g.
