Samsung launches in Korea its Yepp YP-Q1 Diamond PMP in Korean market. The YP-Q1 features a 2.4-inc 320×240 color display, DNSe3.0, support for MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG music and MPEG4 and WMV video formats.

It comes with 4GB, 8GB or 16GB storage capacities.

Samsung has officially announced its two new Yepp music players, the YP-U4 Litmus and the YP-Q1 Diamond, which we have seen before.

TrustedReviews gives us a review on the Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC which is the enhanced version of the Q1 UMPC. The Samsung Q1 Ultra is powered by an Intel A110 ULV 800MHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 60GB hard drive. It features a 7-inch LCD touchscreen with 1024×600 resolution, Bluetooth and a SD card slot for expansion. A second version will come with HSDPA and WiBro support.

The Q1 Ultra is a big improvement over the original Q1. The screen is superb, the interface far more intuitive and the whole package is simply more usable. Despite this, I’m still not convinced about the UMPC platform itself, and I fail to see why anyone would opt for a Q1 Ultra instead of an ultra-portable notebook, like Samsung’s own Q40.

However, if you are sold on the UMPC form factor, and like the idea of a device that’s smaller than a notebook, but can potentially perform many of the same duties, then you’ll probably love the Q1 Ultra. Considering how much better Samsung’s second generation UMPC is than the original Q1; I’m very keen to see what Samsung will come up with next.

Samsung announced its new UMPC Q1 Ultra at the CeBit. The Samsung Q1 Ultra is powered by an Intel CPU, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 7-inch LCD screen with 1024×600. The Q1 Ultra supports HSDPA, WiBro, Bluetooth 2.0, SD card slot and you may also want to get the fingerprint reader.

One of the features of the Q1 Ultra is the QWERTY keypad on the two sides of the LCD screen. The Q1 Ultra runs on the WIndows Vista Home Premium. It measures 227.5×123.9×23.9 and weights 690g.

Here is the successor of the Q1 UMPC, Q2. The Samsung Q2 is powered by an Intel mobile processor, 1GB RAM and 60GB hard drive. The Q2 offers also a 7-inch LCD screen, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, a front-mounted VGA camera for video calls, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g. The UMPC supports also HSDPA.
