Other than big 4 carriers, the sixth largest carrier U.S. Cellular has also launched the 4G LTE network and the company has just released the Samsung SCH-LC11 LTE mobile hotspot. The device supports not just 4G LTE but also 3G networks, and it can automatically switch 3G and 4G to keep you connected. It can share Internet connections to up to five WiFi-enabled devices at once.

Samsung’s newly released Pocket Cam HMX-W300 rugged camcorder may be what you want. The unit features a multi-proof rugged design that it is waterproof to 16.4 feet, shockproof to withstand 6.5 feet drop, and dustproof. In Auto Aqua mode, the W300 can films videos in up to 3 meters of water depth.

Samsung releases its QF20 SMART digital camcorder with integrated WiFi connectivity. The compact camcorder supports Full HD 1920×1080 video recording. With WiFi support, users can connect the QF20 to any WiFi sport and instantly upload the video online to YouTube or Facebook (and images to Picasa) to share with friends and family directly and wirelessly from the camcorder with a simple touch of a button.

Samsung expands its Series 7 notebook with the new 17-inch Series 7 CHRONOS (model NP700Z7CH) powered by Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge platform. Samsung’s new offering is a full-featured, powerful notebook, intended to deliver desktop-like experience, with a sleek, elegant design. It is powered by 3rd Intel Core i7-3615Q processor, up to 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT650M graphics with 2GB video memory and Optimus technology.

Finally, Samsung unveiled its long-waited, long-rumored flagship Galaxy S III smartphone. According to the phone maker, the phone is “designed for humans and inspired by nature,” which “recognizes your voice, understands your intention, and lets you share a moment instantly and easily”. Unlike the Galaxy S II with a more rectangular shape, the third generation of Galaxy S has a pebble-like shape and looks a bit like the Galaxy Nexus.

As Samsung is announcing its new Galaxy S III smartphone on 3 May at 7PM at its Unpacked 2012 event in London, lets have a round-up of rumors about the company’s next flagship. There are several leaked shots of the device, and seems there will be more than one version of the phone with different designs. Some shots indicates a device with a big home button in the middle with menu and back buttons on each of two sides underneath a big touchscreen, while some others show a Galaxy S II-like unit with no physical buttons.

Samsung introduces the world’s thinnest external optical drive, the SE-218BB external DVD burner. Measuring just 14mm thick, the SE-218BB is 18% thinner than conventional DVD writers. Designed for today’s mobile lifestyle and use with Ultrabooks and tablets, the drive is also lightweight. The slim DVD burner writes DVD+/-R at 8x, DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x, DVD+/-R Dual Layer at 6x, DVD-RAM at 5x as well as CD-R/RW at 24x.

Verizon has released the LTE 4G-capable Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Android tablet. The tablet supports Verizon’s LET 4G as well as CDMA EVDO 3G mobile networks and is the world’s thinnest 4G LTE tablet. It comes with a 7.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen with 1280×800 WXGA resolution, a 3 Megapixel main camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, and a 2 Megapixel front camera for video calls. The 4G tablet runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS on a 1.4GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos 4210 processor.

Along with the premium DA-E750 audio dock, Samsung also introduce the HT-E6500W and HT-E6730W high-end Blu-ray 3D home theater systems. Both flagship systems, like the E750, use Samsung’s patented vacuum tube amplifier technology. “Vacuum tubes, which use a long-lasting heated cathode inside a glass bulb to amplify sound, offer a warmer, more natural sound compared to conventional audio systems utilizing transistors.”

Samsung releases a new premium audio dock, the DA-E750 based on the company’s patented vacuum tube amplifier technology. The DA-E750 features a dual docking structure that it can be used with Samsung’s own Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Player and Apple iOS devices. It also supports DLNA AllShare, Bluetooth and AirPlay for wireless media streaming from compatible devices.
