SteelSeries introduces the new Shift gaming keyboard that allows users to alter its appearance and functionality through interchangeable keysets, bringing gamers “advanced customization capabilities that improve the way they approach, experience, and master their game”.

The SteelSeries Shift Base and Shift Keysets are all made with premium plastic and finishes for a superior look and feel. The keyboard has three height levels, extra wide feet and a wrist rest that include rubber inserts to prevent slipping. The Shift Base’s onboard memory allows users to easily record up to 3 layers of on-the-fly macros.

MainGear SHIFT gets Core i7 980X 6 core CPU

MainGear updates its SHIFT Everyday Super Computer, adding the Intel Core i7-980X 6-core hyperthreaded 3.33GHz processor. The new SHIFT uses the Asus P6X58D motherboard based on Intel X58 Express chipset. It supports up to 24GB of DDR3 RAM and can be equipped with ATI or NVIDIA graphics card.

HTC Shift Confirmed at the IDF (Video)

HTC Shift

HTC has confirmed the Shift UMPC at the IDF and the device will be powered by Intel chipset.

The HTC Shift is based in the Intel Pentium M technology. It is powered by IntelA110 processor, and it supports Tri-Band UMTS/HSDPA and Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE. It has also WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Shift will run the Windows Vista and will come with QWERTY keyboard. Watch the video after thee jump.
