SK Telecom Android SIM packs CPU, Android OS, Apps, and 1GB capacity

SK Telecom showed at the MWC 2010 the Android SIM, a standard SIM-sized card that packs a processor, 1GB storage capacity, Android OS, apps and user data. This new all-in-one SIM technology allows phone makers to produce just dumbphones with display, keypad, camera and users simply install the SIM and get all their data back.

Buy movie ticket via Mobile RFID

SK Telecom in Korea presents the ‘U-theater service’ . The new service allows people to get movie tickets by using their mobile phone to scan the mobile RFID tag attached on the movie poster with their cell phones.

After scanning the RFID tag, people can view highlight video clips, reserve seats at a cinema, download movie soundtrack for ring-tone. You will receive a confirmation number through SMS after you bought the ticket and there is no need for extra ticket printing process.
