KDDI au will launch in early 2010 the Cyber‐shot S006 16.2 Megapixel mobile phone by Sony Ericsson. The slider phone packs a 16.2 Megapixel Exmor R image sensor and offers ISO 12800. Should we say it’s a phone with a good camera, or a camera with phone function?

Sharp announced in China two new smartphones running Windows Mobile 6.5, the SH80iUC and SH81iUC. Both phones are of slider style and are almost identical. They support WCDMA/HSDPA 3G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks and the SH81iUC has dual SIM card slots, one for WCDMA/GSM and the other for GSM only.

RIM’s Blackberry Bold 9800 is the company’s first slider smartphone. After being spotted in a video last month, Chinese website Blackberry Times shows us some clear photo shots of the Bold 9800 and a video walkthrough on the BlackBerry OS 6 running on the device.

Announced alongside the Zylo, the Spiro is Sony Ericsson’s another new Walkman music phone. Unlike the Zylo, the Spiro lacks support for FLAC format but it adds 3.5mm audio jack. This entry-level Walkman phone has a 2.2-inch display and a 2 Megapixel camera.

Sony Ericsson announced the Zylo with Walkman music phone that comes pre-loaded with sounds that allows users to pretend they are still at work, walking on the street or in a restaurant. It also feature support for FLAC lossless audio format.

NTT docomo will launch later this month the P-02B by Panasonic, a slider mobile phone that comes in Pink, White, Green and Black. The phone has a ergonimic design that fits your face and a wheel controller for easy navigation.

In addition to the touchscreen Monte S5620, Samsung introduces also the more basic Monte Slider E2550 and the Monte Bar C3200 mobile phones. As it’s name tells, the Monte Slider is a slider phone with a 2-inch display, 1.3 Megapixel camera with video recording and nightshot mode.

Sony Ericsson Hazel GreenHeart Phone

Sony Ericsson adds to its GreenHeart eco-friendly mobile phone portfolio two new devices, the Elm and the Hazel, and the VH700 Bluetooth headset. The Elm candybar and the Hazel slider both have 5 Megapixerl auto focus camera with face detection and geotagging, Bluetooth, built-in media player with MEGA BASS, A-GPS and WiFi.

Samsung announced its new Shark range of sleek, tactile mobile phones, including the candy bar Shark S5350 and slider Shark 2/Shark Slider S5550 and Shark 3/Shark AMOLED S3550. These phones are budget-priced devices with rich multimedia feature and Social Networking Services (SNS) access.
