HTC announced the new TITAN (aka Eternity) smartphone running Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7.5 OS, codenamed Mango. The phone is boosted by a 1.5GHz processor with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 4.7-inch large 480×800 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with F2.2 lens, dual LED flash, BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording, and a 1.3 megapixel front camera.

As you may know, HTC has partnered with and invested in Beats Audio. Now, the cellphone maker announced its first phone with integrated Beats Audio, the HTC Sensation XE, an upgrade to the original Sensation. To offer a Beats Audio experience — a combination of software and hardware, the phone comes inbox with custom made Beats headsets, engineered to deliver extraordinary sound; and is pre-loaded with specially tuned software and user interface.

Sony Ericsson introduces the new Xperia neo V, which is as beautiful as its predecessor Xperia neo and delivers enhanced multimedia capability. The new neo V features unique Facebook inside Xperia functionality for enhanced like, share and discover abilities and 3D sweep panorama technology, which enables image capture and viewing in 3D by connecting the phone to a 3D TV using the HDMI output.

Sony Ericsson announced its Xperia arc S, an enhanced version of the Xperia arc. According to the company, the new arc S eatures 25% faster camera start up and media conversion , along with 20% faster web page rendering compared to Xperia arc, thanks to the new powerful Snapdragon MSM8255 1.4GHz processor. The phone comes with a 4.2-inch 854×480 Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and a 8.1 Megapixel caemra with Exmor R for mobile image sensor. It includes the 3D and 2D sweep panorama photography.

 
LG announced in Korea its new Optimus Sol E730 Android smartphone which will be released in Europe as soon as mid-September. The new phone is boosted by a 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has a 3.8-inch WVGA Ultra AMOLED touchscreen anda 5 Megapixel camera.

Motorola Mobility introduces the new DEFY+, an update to the DEFY, offering faster and smarter performance. The rugged smartphone has a water resistant, scratch resistant and dust proof design (IP67) and comes with scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass. It can survive a sudden rain shower, a day on the beach, an all-night party – or even a tough workout with the pre-loaded CardioTrainer application, which transforms the device into the perfect running mate.

Some details of Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Xperia SO-02D Android phone for NTT DoCoMo have been leaked. Codenamed NOZOMI, the SO-02D is an Android 2.3 smartphone coming in November this year. It is suggested that the device will have a 4.3-inch 1280x720p touchscreen.

Samsung announced in Germany the new Galaxy XCover, a rugged Android smartphone. Like Motorola’s DEFY, the XCover has IP67 certification to protect it against dust and up to 1 meter depth of water for 30 minutes. The phone has a 3.6-inch touchscreen with scratch-resistant tempered glass, and a 3.2 Megapixel camera with LED flash.
