Sony introduces two new Cyber-shot compact digital cameras, the Cyber-shot DSC-T700 and DSC-T77. Both of them comes with the “intelligent” shooting functions.

The Cyber-shot DSC-T77, the successor of the Cyber-shot T70, is probably the world’s thinnest digital camera with a thickness of 13.9mm. It has a 10 Megapixel Super HAD CCD image sensor, a 4x  Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens, ISO sensitivity up to 3200, and a 3-inch Xtra Fine LCD screen.

Basically the DSC-T700 offers the same features as the T77, but it has 4GB internal memory for you to store up to 1,000 full-resolution images. It gets also a larger 3.5-inch LCD display. The T77 has only 15MB memory. They both support Memory Stick media cards.

This is the NTT DoCoMo’s SO905iCS that is made by Sony Ericsson and features a Cyber-shot camera. The SO905iCS features a 2.7-inch 16 million color LCD display with 480×864 resolution, a 5 Megapixel CMOS camera, InfraRed support and a microSD card slot.

The 5 Megapixel sensor allows the SO905iCS to record 640×480 MP4 videos at 30fps. The phone supports NTT DoCoMo’s FOMA 3G network. It measures  113mm x 50mm x  24mm and weighs only 145g.

Sony introduces the new Cyber-shot DSC-H10, which is to replace the old H3 digital camera. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10 is a 8 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss 10x optical zoom lens, an ISO rating up to 3200, a 3-inch LCD display and Sony’s D-Range Optimizer (DRO), which can “help you capture balanced images when shooting in high-contrast or backlit scenes.”

The H10 will be available in May for about $300 USD.

The T300 comes with Sony’s new intelligent scene recognition (iSCN) techniology and supports Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo memory cards.

In advanced iSCN mode, the camera will shoot using the user’s settings and then will automatically step in and take a second shot with optimized settings. If the camera determines that the user’s settings are best, then a second photo is not taken.
