Sony adds to its premium ES series the new flagship DA5700ES AV receiver designed to deliver authentic cinema sound. The new receiver features 7.2-channel output that is expandable to 9.2 channels by adding 2 front high speakers. It features the Digital Cinema Auto Calibration EX (DCAC EX) technology to optimize the surround system to suit the room. “Simply place the included stereo microphone where you’ll be seated and DCAC EX automatically optimizes audio settings based on the distance, delays and placement of your speakers.” It features DTS Neo X and supports Faroujda 1080p upscaling

Sony’s ICD-TX50 is a slim, card-type digital voice recorder that is just 6.4mm thick and weighs less than 50g. The recorders sports built-in stereo digital microphone and records in Linear PCM or MP3 (192/128/48 kbps) formats. Its 4GB internal memory is enough for up to 178 hours of MP3 recording, and there is a microSD card slot for expansion. There is a pocket clip to keep the TX50 secured in your shirt pocket, which doubles as a recording stand for tabletop recording.

Sony RDP-XF300iP

Sony launches two new speaker docks compatible with iPad, the DP-XF300iP and RDP-X200iP. Both models support Bluetooth connectivity for wireless music streaming. These speakers docks features powerful digital amplifiers and two-way speaker systems, delivering 40-watt of output. With flexible docking mechanisms, they can accommodate iPod, iPhone as well as iPad without removal from their carrying case.

Sony introduces in Europe two new compact all-in-one HiFi systems with built-in dock for iPhone, iPod and iPad. Both systems have sleek, minimalist design yet stylish design. With built-in dock, users can play music from their iOS devices easily. They both feature Magnetic Fluid technology to deliver crystal-clear, distortion-free sound.

Sony’s RDP-XA700iP is an iPad-compatible speaker dock with support for AirPlay wireless streaming technology. The dock features Sony’s DMC technology, which is a combination of dual passive radiators, magnetic fluid speakers and a Clear Phase digital signal processor; and a built-in subwoofer. According to Sony, “magnetic fluid technology can deliver higher sound pressure levels and clearer vocals while the unique Clear Phase circuitry reduces distortion and increases sound presence for a crisp and clean listening experience. The speaker delivers 15 W + 15 W + 30 W output and includes S-MASTER Digital Amplification to deliver enhanced performance.

Along with the new NXCAM HXR-NX30U handheld professional camcorder, Sony also introduced the new NXCAM NEX-FS700U Full HD Super Slow Motion camcorder. Designed for high-speed shooting, the Super 35mm camcorder is capable of capturing footage at up to 960 frames per second. The interchangeable lens camcorder uses the NEX E-mount with the flexibility to accept virtually all SLR and DSLR 35mm lenses. With the optional Sony LA-EA2 A-mount lens adaper, you can also use Sony Alpha lenses.

Sony brings to video professionals a new NXCAM camcorder, the compact-sized HXR-NX30U with built-in projector. According to Sony, the NX30U is its smallest, lightest handheld professional camcorder. It is equipped with 1/2.88-inch Exmor R CMOS image sensor and a Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar T* lens with 26mm wide angle and 10x optical zoom.

Sony launches three new entry-level Handycam Full HD camcorders, the HDR-CX190, HDR-CX200 and HDR-CX210. All of them are equipped with back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor for superb low-light video recording and a 25x optical zoom lens, which can be extended to 30x. They are capable of 1920x1080p Full HD video recording and 5.3 Megapixel still image shooting. The HDR-CX200 and HDR-CX210 both use Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens.

Sony launches its new Handycam HDR-TD20V Double Full HD 3D camcorder with a dual lens system to capture true Full HD 3D images. Equipped with dual lens system, which includes two of each key component – double Sony Wide Angle G Lenses with 10x optical zoom, double Exmor CMOS image sensors and double BIONZ image processor, the 3D Handycam captures true 3D images with full 1920×1080 resolution on both channel, delivering “a more immersive 3D experience”. It records Full HD 60p/24p videos and up to 20 Megapixel still images, and there is a dedicated button for users to switch between 3D and 2D recording on the fly.

Sony launches the Bloggie Live (MHS-TS55), a pocket-sized Full HD video camera with built-in WiFi connectivity for live video streaming. When connected to the Internet using WiFi, the camcorder can stream video live to Qik.com and optimized videos are stored on Quk for playback and sharing. Users can also upload photos and videos directly to social sites like Facebook. The TS55 packs Sony Exmor CMOS sensor for Full HD 1080p video recording and 12.8 Megapixel still images capturing.
