In addition to the D LUX 4 compact camera, Leica introduces als the C-LUX 3, a stylish camera based on Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-FX37. As the successor of the C-LUX 2, Leica’s C-LUX 3 comes with a 10 Megapixel image sensor, a LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT 4.4-22 mm f/2.8-5.9 ASPH lens offering 5x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, Mega OIS image stabilizer, ISO up to 1600, and a 2.5-inch LCD display.

Sony updates the Cybet-shot DSC-T200 with the new DSC-T300 digital camera. Same as the T200, the T300 is a stylish camera and it features a 10 Megapixel camera with 10 Megapixel image sensor, Carl Zeiss 5x optical zoom lens, an ISO rating up to 3200 and a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen.

The T300 comes with Sony’s new intelligent scene recognition (iSCN) techniology and supports Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo memory cards.

In advanced iSCN mode, the camera will shoot using the user’s settings and then will automatically step in and take a second shot with optimized settings. If the camera determines that the user’s settings are best, then a second photo is not taken.
