Onkyo presents the HT-S9100THX, the first THX I/S Plus Certified system. The system is able to handle Full HD processing of 1080p video and the master quality of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

JVC introduces at the CEDIA EXPO 2008 its DLA-HD750 and DLA-RS20 Full HD projectors that are THX Certified. The THX certification ensure users that these two projectors are able to present a wide range of video content at maximum resolutions with the correct color and luminance levels.

They have JVC’s 0.7-inch full HD D-ILA devices and offers a native contrast ratio of 30,000:1. These two THX projectors feature the HQV Reon-VX video processor developed by Silicon Optix to ensure excellent image projection.

JVC HD750 and RS20 offers also the THX Movie Mode for watching DVD, Blu-ray as well as TV broadcast. They comes with 2x zoom lens. They have the HDMI version 1.3 (Deep Color/CEC) input.

 
Onkyo introduces in the US two new THX home theater receivers, the TX-SR806 and TX-SR706. Both of them supports THX Ultra2 Plus and Select2 Plus, as well as the THX Loudness Plus technology. TX-SR806 and TX-SR706 have five and four HDMI 1.3a repeater inputs respectively. The former one offers also up-conversion to 1080i for the analog component video output.

Onkyo is also launching the HT-S7100 and HT-S6100 HTiB packaged systems, which include a home theater receiver, seven-channel loudspeaker system, powered subwoofer, and iPod dock. The HT-S7100 will come with also two stylish speaker stands. The premium audio processing includes DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD, Audyssey 2EQ room acoustics correction, and Audyssey Dynamic EQ loudness correction.

The Onkyo TX-SR806 will be available in August for $1099. TX-SR706 cost $899 and is available now. HT-S7100 and HT-S6100 systems are now available for $899 and $799 respectively.

Sharp introduced two new AQUOS T-Series LCD TVs, which are the world’d first LCD TVs to get THX Certification. The two new AQUOS are 65-inch LV-65TH1 and 52-inch LV-52TH1. Both them are Full HD 1080p LCD TVs and features 2500:1 contrast ratio.
