Toshiba mini NB505

Toshiba introduces its all new mini NB505 and updated mini NB305 netbooks with new styling. The former is topped with Toshiba’s new rubberized EasyGrip Finish on the cover that makes it easier to carry, while also reducing fingerprints and a flat keyboard with Black textured finish on the inside; while the latter gets a sturdy Aluminum cover.

Toshiba introduces its AC100 (aka dynabook AZ in Japan) ultra slim smart companion that is “the ideal device to consume media, browse the Internet and view and edit documents, emails and other messages while out and about”. It runs Google Android 2.1 OS.

Toshiba is planning a Tegra-powered netbook, called the AC100-114. The device runs Android 2.1. It is boosted by NVIDIA’s Tegra T20 processor, 512MB of RAM and 16GB SSD. The Android netbook has a 10.1-inch SVGA 1024×600 LED-backlit display and HDMI and VGA video output. Thanks to the Tegra processor, the netbook is capable of 1080p HD video playback.

Toshiba Satellite P500-series notebook

Toshiba updates its notebook and netbook range with the latest Windows 7 OS. The company’s Satellite and Qosmio laptops will be available with Windows 7 beginning October 22.

Toshiba just announced in Japan that it will release in Japan in August a WiMAX-enabled netbook, known as the dynabook UX/27JBLMA. Based on the original dynabook UX netbook, Toshiba’s new offering is powered by an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz, 1GB memory and onboard GMA950 graphics. It gets a 160GB hard drive.

Toshiba is launching in the US its NB205 netbook PC that is basically the US version of the NB200. The configuration of the NB205 is pretty standard with an Atom N280 processor, 1GB RAM (max 2GB), and a 160GB hard drive. It has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit LCD display, a 2-in-1 card reader and support for WiFi 802.11b/g.

Toshiba Europe announced the NB200 mini notebook which is basically the Europe version of its dynabook UX.  As the succesor of the NB100, NB200 is equipped wit heither an Atom N270 1.6GHz or N280 1.66GHz processr and 945GSE graphics chipset. It has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit LCD display.

Toshiba announced in Japan its new dynabook UX notebook PC based on Intel Atom, like the company’s NB100 netbook. The dynabook UX is powered by an Atom N280 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, GMA950 integrated graphics and a 160GB hard drive.
