Toshiba Portege R500 – Thinnest Notebook with Integrated Optical Drive

Toshiba announced the Portege R500 Series ultraportable notebook computer, which is the thinnest notebook to have integrated optical drive.

The Toshiba Portege R500 is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 2GB of RAM. R500 has the 7mm, 8xDVD-SuperMulti Burner and other features, including WiFi, Bluetooth and a 12.1-inch LCD display. Toshiba R500 series measures 0.77-inches thick and 2.4pounds.
