RIM brings two new full touch models, the BlackBerry Torch 9850 and 9860 with a all-touch design. Two models are basically the same, except that the former supports dual-band CDMA EVDO and single band UMTS networks and the latter works with tri-band UMTS 3G networks. They run the latest BlackBerry 7 OS.

Research In Motion (RIM) refresh its Bold series with the new 9900 and 9930 models. The new 9900 series is the thinnest BlackBerry smartphone yet measuing just just 10.5mm thick. The new Bold comes with QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen and is equipped with support for NFC (Near Field Communications). The new phones run BlackBerry OS 7.

Basically, two models are identical, except that the 9900 supports tri-band HSPA+ 4G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks while the 9930 is a world phone adding support for dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A network. The new phones are the thinnest Blackberry phones at 10.5mm and have lustrous exterior with a brushed stainless steel frame and a high-gloss glass-weave backplate.

Research in Motion (RIM) officially introduces the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone for AT&T, which is the first slider Blackberry phone and the first to run the newest BlackBerry 6 OS. The phone is also the first to combine a BlackBerry keyboard with a full touch screen experience.
