eMatic launches three new MP3 players, the eSportsClip, Prism-e8 and JR-e6, all come in dynamic life-style colors. All three models come with 5 Megapixel digital camera with LED flash for users to take photos and capture video. They all support playback of MP3, WAV, WMA audio formats as wel as MP4, AVI, FLC video and JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF images. You can also find FM radio.

Remember Samsung’s Galaxy player 50 YP-G50 Android-powered portable media player? After the break you can find Samsung’s promotion video of the player. As you may know, the Galaxy player is basically a Galaxy S phone sans the phone function. It is just like the iPod touch, getting most of the features on the Galaxy S, except the phone function, high quality camera and the big screen.

Other than the smaller 2.8-inch and 3.4-inch Android PMPs, Archos also brings the Archos 43, a 4.3-inch palm-size Android tablet/PMP that looks like a touchscreen smartphone. Packing a 1Ghz Cortex A8 CPU and graphics accelerator, like the Archos 7 and 101, the Archos 43 runs Android 2.2 Froyo. It’s 4.3-inch touchscreen has 480×854 resolution.

Archos 28

Archos introduces two new palm-sized Android tablets, the Archos 28 with 2.8-inch screen adn the 3.2-inch Archos 32. Though Archos is calling them “tablets”, I would consider them as Android-based portable media players, due to their small screen.

Samsung presents its Galaxy Player 50 (model YP-G50) Android portable media player. As reported before, Samsung is planning the Galaxy S-like YP-MB2 PMP, but the Galaxy Player 50 shown at IFA 2010 is clearly not the same as the MB2, though it does have a similar appearance.

While iPhone gets the iPod touch sibling, Samsung is launching the Yepp YP-MB2 Android portable media player joining the Galaxy S. As you can see above, Samsung just take away the Galaxy S’ phone function and make it the YP-MB2. It also looks like the iPod touch and the original iPhone (2G).

iRiver officially announced the Smart HD K1 portable media player in Korea. The Smart HD has a 3.5-inch 480×320 LCD touchscreen, FM tuner, 8GB or 16GB internal memory and a SDHC card slot. The new device is available in four versions, Basic, DMB, Edu and WiFi+DMB.
