RAmos has shown its RM955 portable media player at the CES. RAmos RM955 is a touchscreen-based PMP with 2GB or 4GB of capacity. It supports MP3, WMA music, AVI MPEG-4 videos, and JEPG, BMP images.

Other than the internal storage, the device supports also microSD card external memory.

It seems that touchscreen is now an essential part of any gadgets, from mobile phone to PMP to digital camera. Panasonic introduces the Lumix DMC-FX500 (also known as FX520) digital camera that comes with a touchscreen.

This is Apple’s new patent of a new kind of touchscreen. It is actually a touchscreen that is translucent (transparent) and you can use both sides of the screen. The patents simply suggests that Apple could develop a new generation of iPhone with a transparent panel. The new iPhone will just like the one we see when the flip is closed. When the flip is opened, you will see a flip phone with a large touch screen and a transparent touch pad.

It will not be suprised if Apple use the patent on laptops.
