Flourite N68 Shanzhai Phone with transparent keypad on hand

Here is a shanzhai mobile phone from China, the Flourite N68, that comes with a transparent keypad, just like LG’s GD900 Crystal. The N68 is based on the MTK platform, like other shanzhai phones. It gets a 2.2-inch color display, Bluetooth, Dual SIM card slots, a 8 Megapixel camera and FM tuner. It is priced at 480 Chinese Yuan (US$71).

LG GD900 with transparent keypad and S-Class UI

LG is showing at the CTIA 2009 its GD900 slider mobile phone that has transparent keypad and S-Class UI. The GD900, as previewed at the MWC 2009, is probably the world’s first phone to feature a transparent glass keypad, which serves as a touch-sensitive touch-pad.

LG GD900 with transparent keypad

LG unveiled at the Mobile World Congresss 2009 the GD900, the world’s first transparent design phone. The GD900 comes with a sliding, translucent keypad. The crystal, glass-like LG GD900 will be released in Q2 2009.
