Lenovo is launching in June its latest ultraportable notebooks, the ThinkPad X230 notebook and the ThinkPad X230t convertible tablet, designed for business professionals on-the-go. Replacing the X220 and X220t, the new models are powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge 3rd gen Core processor. They are compact, slim and lightweight that the X230 is just 3 pounds, but still deliver up to 24 hours of battery life (with ThinkPad 19+ slice battery).

Lenovo launches its new IdeaPad U300e Ultrabook with a more affordable price tag. The new ultraportable laptop is powered by Intel’s Core i5-2467M Sandy Bridge 1.6GHz processor with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000. The U300e weighs less than 1.32kg/3lbs and is just 14mm thick and features minimalist deisgn with full aluminum shell.

Dell announced the new XPS 14z, which is the thinnest fully featured 14-inch laptop featuring an internal optical drive. The 14z is a ultraportable notebook that measures less than an inch thin and Dell fits a 14-inch 1366×768 HD display into a 13-inch laptop form factor with a unique design.

Kogan releases two new 12-inch ultraportable notebooks, the standard Agora 12-inch and the Agora PRO 12-inch, both running Ubuntu Linux OS with a range of applications such as LibreOffice, media player, Skype and Internet browser.

Lenovo officially announced the IdeaPad U260, the world’s first 12.5-inch ultraportable consumer notebook giving users a 16:9 widescreen dimension in a 12-inch form factor for the first time. The design of the slim and fashionable U260 is inspired by the silhouette of a classic leather-bound journal. It has a specially engineered one-piece magnesium-aluminum alloy frame, making it stronger yet thinner and lighter.

Lenovo’s November Personal Systems Reference sheet reveals the PC maker’s latest IdeaPad U260 ultra portable notebook PC. Boosted by Intel Core i3/i5 dual core processor, the U260 sports 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and integrated Intel HD graphics with HDMI connector. Toshiba introduces the Portege R700, the world’s lightest 13.3-inch full-performance ultraportable laptop with an integrated DVD drive. Powered by Intel’s Core series processor, the Portege R700 is equipped with DDR3 memory, built-in DVD burner, an ExpressCard slot, two USB 3.0 ports, an eSATA/USB combo port and HDMI output.
