Gigabyte showed its M700 UMPC at the CeBit 2008. The M700 comes with a 7-inch touchscreen with 1024×600 resolution, WiMax connectivity and 2 cameras. The device will run Windows Vista Home OS. After the break you can see video preview on it.

Asus shows us the R70 UMPC, which is the 7-inch version of the R50 UMPC. The R70 is powered by an Intel Silverthorne 1.6GHz processor, 120GB hard drive and you can get aslo USB ports and memory card slot.

HP announced a new UMPC, named Compaq 2133. The 2133 features a 8.9-inch WXGA display, WiFi, webcam, ExpressCard/54 slot, and of course QWERTY keyboard. You may also want to get the optional SSD. Not much info is available now.

Amtek shows us the iTablet T221 UMPC which runs the Windows VIsta OS. The Amtek iTablet T221 is powered by an Intel Core Duo ULV 1.2GHz or 1.06GHz processor, up to 2GB of RAM, integrated GMA 950 graphics and a 60GB hard drive. The iTablet T221 supports also WiFi 802.11a/b/g and has a 12.1-inch LCD display that is a Resistive touch screen W/O Plam rejection.

There is also another model, the iTablet T220 which has similar configuration as the T221 but comes with an Active Digitizer display.

UPOP, from Korea, shows us an UMPC that runs the Windows CE 5.0 Professional OS. The UPOP device features QWERTY keyboard and a 4.8-inch LCD touchscreen. It comes with a 30GB or 60GB hard drive and has a SD/MMC card slot for expansion.

Wibrain B1 UMPC, which we have seen before, is coming to the US next month and there are 2 models available, the B1E with 512MB RAM and the B1H with 1GB RAM.

The Wibrain B1 is powered by VX7000 chipset and has a 4.8-inch LCD touchscreen, integrated hard drive, QWERTY keypad, 2 Channel stereo speakers and a USB port.

The Wibrain B1 supports 3G/HSDPA, quad-band GSM network, WiFi 802.11b/g as well as Mobile WiMax connectivity. It features also Bluetooth and an integrated webcam. The B1 runs the Windows XP Home OS.

Gigabyte offers M704 UMPC, which should be the upgrade version of the U60 UMPC. The Gigabyte M704 is powered by a VIA Esther ULV C7-M 1.2GHz processor, 768MB of DDR2 RAM, 40 or 60GB hard drive.

Asus has officially announced its new R50A notebook computer that “is the first UMPC that reaches the full potential of the platform”. The Asus R50A  features a 4.8-inch LCD display with 1024×600 resolution, 3G and 3.5G connectivity, GPS navigation, and integrated TV tuner.
