Volkswagon has just opened a $38 million testing facility which can simulate the worst weather that cars may face in the nature. Temperatures can range between -40 to 302 degrees F in conditions simulating direct sun exposure and humidity up to 95 percent saturation. BUT, it does NOT rain. The facility also has the modular storage units that allow VW to test up to 50 cars, twice a day.
