NTT DoCoMo is going to release in June/July in Japan its MEDIAS WP N-06C super slim waterproof Android smartphone. At its thinnest part, the N-06C is just 7.9mm thick (9.7mm thick around the camera). It packs a 4-inch 480×854 touchscreen LCD display, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with face detection, built-in 1Seg mobile TV tuner, integrated GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.

Sprint is going to release the Kyocera Sanyo Taho rugged mobile phone that can withstand some of the harshest elements and 30 minutes of full immersion in water up to one meter (3.28 feet) deep. The Taho is Sprint’s first fully submersible device available for less than $100.
