iubi presents the PMP-1480, a WiFi-enabled PMP. The iubi PMP-1480 is powered by a TMS320 DM6441 processor, 64MB Flash ROM, 128MB RAM, and a 30/40/60GB 1.8-inch hard drive. The PMP supports Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS navigation and DMB digital TV reception.

The iubi PMP-1480  has a 4.3-inch LCD screen with 800×480 resolution. It runs the Windows CE OS and is able to play  MP3, XviD, DivX, MPEG1/2/4, AVI, WMV, JPEG, BMP. You can also get the optional HSDPA dongle.

I see the Archos 604 WiFi mainly as the joining of web browser and portable video player, I won’t devote much time to the PVR (portable video recorder) feature of the device, since it’s an accessory. So the question becomes, how well can the Archos perform in regards to web browsing and video playback? The answers you find in this review may not be what you expected.

Panasonic has taken the complexity out of making Skypeâ„¢ calls by including a complete kit which can be set up and used by virtually anyone with little or no computer experience. LaptopMag has reviewed the Archos 704 PMP. The Archos 704 has 40GB capacity,  a 7-inch LCD screen with 800×480 resolution, support for MP3, WAV, WMA, protected WMA music and MPEG-4, WMV, protected WMV and also WiFi.
You can also add AAC, AC3, H.264, MPEG-2, and VOB  support with optional plug-ins.

If you’re on the hunt for a device that will handle just about all of your multimedia needs, the Archos 704 Wi-Fi should more than satisfy. It’s too big for a pocket, but it’s perfect for a long flight or car ride. Nokia announced the E65, a slider phone supporting GSM, 3G WCDMA and WiFi IEEE 802.11g/e/i.

The Nokia E65 has a 240 x 320 16 million color LCD screen, support for MP3, MP4, AAC 3GPP and RealMedia media formats, Bluetooth IrDA, 50MB internal memory and a microSD card slot.

The E65 runs the S60 3rd Edition and is already available in selected markets, with broader availability building during the first quarter of 2007 for an unsubsidised approximate retail price of €400.
