The Dopod 577W comes in a cool dual-tone black-grey casing. It is the first WiFi-equipped Windows Mobile smartphone in South East Asia.

The smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition with TI OMAP 850 processor and 64MB ROM/64MB RAM. It has a 2.2-inch 65536 colors QVGA display (240×320), a 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera, Bluetooth and InfraRed.
