Willcom announced its LU slider phone that is also known as Toshiba WS023T. The name “LU” means Luminous You. It will be available in December.

Willcom LU / Toshiba WS023T is a slider with a 2.4-inch 240×320 LCD screen, a 2 Megapixel camera, QR code scanner, IR and support for JAVA. It comes with NetFront web browser and has a microSD card slot.

Willcome shows at the Good Design Expo 2008 its concpet Kuma Phone (Bear phone). The Kuma phone is able to make and receive calls. Willcome shows also the Nico.Marble candy-themed phone that is targeted at women market.

Willcom introduces the Kyocera WX330K Honey Bee candybar mobile phone, which is as thin as 9.9mm thin. The Honey Bee has a 2-inch LCD display and supports IrDA connectivity. It comes with also Opera 7 internet browser.

Willcom unveiled the Sharp Advanced/W-ZERO3[es] (WS011SH) PDA phone, which is the successor of the WZERO3 PDA phone, for its PHS network.  Advanced/W-ZERO3[es] WS011SH is powered by an Intel Marvell PXA270 520MHz processor, 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM.

WS011SH has a 3-inch 480×800 LCD display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, WiFi 802.11b/g, IrDA and a microSD card slot.

The W-ZERO3[es] runs the Windows Mobile 6 Classic OS and comes with the Windows Media Player 10 Mobile. It supports the Google Map.

Willcom and JRC offer the WX321J mobile phone with a fingerprint reader. The Willcom JRC WX321J is a PHS phone featuring a 2.4-inch QVGA IPS screen, a 1.3 Megepixel camera, a microSD slot. It comes with the NetFront mobile web browser and a document viewer supporting PDF files.

The Willcom JRC WX321J measures 51×120×16mm for 108g.

Willcom, one of the carriers in Japan, has the WS009KE or R9 in its phone lineup. The Willcom R9 or Willcom WS009KE comes with no those “high tech” features such as camera, bluetooth, but goes back to be a Phone. It has a 2-inch QVGA screen, this may be its only feature though its design may be its another feature.

The phone measures 40(w)×11.5(d)×124(l)mm and weighs only 67g. It will hit the market in 14/12/2006.
