Sprint announced the launch of the Samsung Conquer 4G, the carrier’s first 4G smartphone to launch at less than $100 enabling Sprint customers to experience industry-leading features without breaking the bank. The Conquer 4G is an Android 2.3 smartphone powered by a 1GHz MSM8655 Snapdragon processor. The phone has a 3.5-inch 320×480 touchscreen, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with flsah and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera. It supports Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi connectivity and supports both 3G CDMA EVDO and 4G WiMax networks.

Sprint is going to release Motorola’s PHOTON 4G Android smartphone on 31 July. As Sprint’s first international 4G smartphone, the PHOTON 4G supports not only the carrier’s WiMAX 4G and CDMA EVDO network, but also quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band WCDMA 3G network, making it a true global phone. The phone will be available for 199.99 with two-year service agreement.

Sprint, Samsung and Google have partnered to bring the Nexus S 4G Android smartphone to the carrier’s WiMax 4G mobile network. This 4G version of Nexus S supports Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network, with peak download speeds of more than 10 Mbps; peak upload speeds of 1 Mbps; average download speeds of 3-6 Mbps, and CDMA EVDO Rev. A 3G network.

Sprint has just announced the new HTC EVO 3D, America’s first 4G smartphone with a 4.3 inch 3D QHD display that allows you to view 3D without having to wear 3D glasses. The EVO 3D has a similar design like the original EVO 4G. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm SnapDragon processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal memory; and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense.

Sprint is launching the new HTC EVO Shift 4G Android smartphone, the brother of the EVO 4G. The new EVO Shift comes with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard and supports Sprint’s WiMAX 4G network. Powered by Qualcomm’s SnapDragon MSM7630 800MHz processor, the new EVO has 512MB RAM and 2GB of ROM.

PhoneArena posted a few shots of the HTC EVO Shift 4G Android smartphone, which is believed to be released by Sprint in January. The phone, like the original EVO 4G, supports Sprint’s WiMAX 4G network. It has a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard.

Sprint and HTC have jointly announced the HTC EVO 4G, the world’s first and HTC’s first 3G/4G Android mobile phone. The EVO 4G is basically the Android version of the HTC HD2 and adds support for WiMAX high-speed network. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon QSD8650 1GHz processor (the CDMA version of the QSD8250 SnapDragon found in HD2, HTC Desire, Nexus One, Toshiba TG02..etc).
