Amped Wireless introduces the R20000G, its new flagship long-range high power wireless-n Gigabit dual-band router. The router is powered by a 620MHz internal processor for faster networking and it supports simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz dual band 802.11n technology for enhanced network performance. The R20000G sports dual high power 2.4Ghz 600mW amplifiers, dual high power 5.0GHz amplifiers and dual low noise amplifiers for improving wireless reception. It also comes with dual high gain 5dBi detachable dual band antennas. According to the company, the router is able to brings simultaneous dual band WiFi connection to home and office users of up to 10,000 square feet of coverage or a quarter of an acre.

Buffalo AirStation WZR-D1800H 802.11ac Router

Following Netgear’s R6300, Buffalo also announced its 802.11ac wireless router, the AirStation WZR-D1800H that is also based on Broadcom’s 5G WiFi chips. With support for 802.11ac, the router, according to Buffalo offers speeds up to three times faster than 802.11n, while maintaining backward compatibility with 802.11a/b/g/n.

Netgear introduces the R6300, the first WiFi router powered by Broadcom’s WiFi IEEE 802.11ac chips, enabling 5th generation WiFi (5G WiFi) at gigabit speeds that is up to 3x faster than 802.11n. Thanks to the new chips, the router delivers a high transfer speed, offering up to 1300Mbps on 5GHz and 450Mbps on 2.4GHz (1750Mbps combined), with support fot simultaneous dual-band WiFi technology. Of course, the router is also compatible with WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n for optimum interoperability. It has a elegant new design that is stylish and space-saving.

Cisco updates its Linksys E4200 router, introducing the E4200 v2 wireless N router. Dubbed as Maximum Performance Dual-Band N900 router, the new version of E4200 features 3X3 spatial streams on both the 2.4Ghz and 5GHz band for faster wireless speeds up to 450 Mbps in each band, delivering a wireless performance of up to a total of 900Mbps. With dual-band support, network bandwidth is doubled to avoid interference and maximize throughput for smoother and faster HD video streaming, file transfers, and wireless gaming.

TP-Link TL-MR3020

TP-Link announced the new TL-MR3020, a portable 3G/3.75G wireless N router that connects to the Internet via 3G/3.75G cellular network and share the connection via WiFi. The router has a compact design, making it ideal for travel. It works with USB 3G modems, supporting UMTS/HSPA/EVDO mobile networks.

D-Link introduces its new Amplifi HD Media Router 2000 (model DIR-827), a high-performance home networking solution designed to  optimize a home’s Wi-Fi signal and provide increased and continuous Internet strength. The router supports 802.11ba/b/g/n WiFi and has four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. It supports WPA, WPA2 and WPS security.

ZyXEL announced the new NBG5715 simultaneous dual-band, 450Mbps wireless-N router. With support for dual-band, the router creates two separate, concurrent networks to double performance compared to a traditional router, with standard 2.4 GHz band for web browser and 5GHz band for high-bandwidth, low-latency activities, such as streaming Internet movies or playing online games. The device supports WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA, WPA2 wireless standard and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).

TRENDnet announced at the Computex 2011 the new TEW-692GR, the world’s first dual-band wireless router to support 450Mbps on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands concurrently, for a total throughput of 900 Mbps.
