Samsung’s single-chip 7-inch WVGA LCD

Samsung has announced the industries first single-chip 7-inch LCD. This is the first amorphous silicon (a-Si) 7″ screen and it has a a 400:1 contrast ratio and WVGA resolution ( 854 x 480 pixel). It will probably be used in mobile devices like PMP’s or UMPCs.
