Following the ZAGGmate keyboard case for the iPad, ZAGG is going to release in April new model for Apple’s iPad 2. The ZAGGmate case is made from aircraft aluminum with a bead-blasted, anodized finish matching the design, look and feel of iPad and offers “military grade high-density padding for superior drop protection”. It features a hard cover to protect the iPad and a “simple yet innovative” hinge to provide viewing and typing angles in both portrait and landscape mode.

ZAGG, known for its InvisibleShield protection films, introduces the ZAGGmate, thinnest hard cover protector for the front of the iPad. Two versions will be released, the ordinary $69.99 ZAGGmate and the $99.99 ZAGGmate with integrated keyboard. Both ZAGGmates are made of aircraft-grade aluminum with a bead-blasted, hard-anodized finish that matches the iPad.
