Dell officially launches its Inspiron Mini 9 netbook PC. Three versions are available. All of them are powered by Atom N270 1.6GH processor, Intel GMA950 integrated graphics. They has a 8.9-inch LED 1024×600 display and WiFi 802.11g support.

The $349 Linux version of the Inspiron Mini 9 has 4GB of SSD, 512MB of memory and runs Mini OS based on Ubuntu 8.04. Dell offers 2GB of free storage for this model. The $399 version gets 512MB memory, 8GB SSD and Windows XP Home. The most expensive $449 model features 1GB of RAM and 16GB SSD. It runs Windows XP Home.
