Panasonic introduces two new series of professional LCD display for hospitality and digital signage, the LRU50 Series and the LRU5 Series, both with a faster boot time mode. These displays use IPS LCD display with a wide 178-degree viewing angle. They include initial input/channel/volume, maximum volume, button and input lock and a customizable welcome screen, and has a SD card slot for system-wide cloning of settings to a large number of units.
The LRU50 Series, intended for hospitality, includes 32-inch TH-32LRU50 ($495), 37-inch TH-37LRU50 ($630), 42-inch TH-42LRU50 ($770) and 55-inch TH-55LRU50 ($2,125) models. They are equipped with a built-in digital tuner supporting MPEG4 and Pro:Idiom decryption and is compatible with most Pay-Per-View and Free-to-Guest systems, and come standard with integrated LodgeNet b-LAN technology. The 55-inch TH-55LRU50 is Panasonic’s first professional LED LCD display.
The LRU5 Series is a cost-effective digital signage display solution. It comes in 32-inch, 37-inch and 42-inch models. The displays can show images from a SD memory card, and are compatible with Pay-Per-View and Free-to-Guest systems. The 32-inch TH-32LRU5, 37-inch TH-37LRU5 and 42-inch TH-42LRU5 are priced at $465, $600 and $740, respectively.
